Went to the film shoot location to listen to the Director and the Director of Photography talk about camera angles and occasionally giving my point of view. The set is a bedroom scene and required light dressing. However it was a new location, somehow the bedroom they initially wanted to shoot in was too small, so some replanning was in order. I stuck on by to listen to how the shots in this new bedroom will be taken, then rearrange the props to match the camera angles.
The Director of Photography is a bit attached to using things like the 'movie tube', a 35 mm adapter for the digital camera.
Unfortunately because my printer broke, some fake magazine pages couldn't be made on time. So before the shoot begins at 1pm tommorow, i'm going to try to get them printed on someone elses printer. I recorded their printer device details the night before to download the driver at home. Using glossy photo paper, it should produce the right effect.
Oh what a beautiful camera, I am jealous!
